Setup was very easy, a wizard takes you through the process. Wireless connected with using WPA2 with no configuration beyond the passkey. Youtube and iPlayer work fine, with iPlayer looking great. Some other video services available, eg music, Vimeo, as well.

Was pleasantly surprised that the HD freeview picture was there, have had doubts about our aerial and heard that terrestrial HD needs good reception, but worked with no bother.
Freesat didn't work well, but the dish looks ancient and hasn't
been used for about 5 years anyway, took quiet a battering during the last couple of winters from high winds, so not too surprised there.
The 3D is a bit of a gimmick in my opinion, but the daughter (5) likes it, so not entirely a waste. BBC HD showed Wimbledon in 3D, and the Youtube channel has some 3D content as well, handily arranged into a playlist for demoing.

Remote control is pretty much the same as the previous Samsung TV, so no trouble getting used to it. UI for EPG and options is also similar, clear and easy to navigate.
Visually, it is a very slim and elegant TV, wins the wife approval. It is a 40" which replaced a 32" model, but due to the much slimmer bezel, only takes up an extra 3" diagonal.

Upgraded from a 32" Samsung to this as my PC main monitor ... Once again i feel this suits my PC needs perfectly ...

With regards to the reviewer who said the 3D is in the screen and nothing comes out at you .... I am unsure if my set is somehow different from his .. or if i am watching better 3D movies ... but when watching 3D undersea documentary for example .. a huge pike swam right out the screen .. and was intimidatingly very close to my face .. i reached out as tho i was about to touch it ... and had the urge to pull my hand back again .. even tho i knew it wasnt really there ... very convincing for me ..
however .. i notice every time i put a new 3D movie on (that has been downloaded at least) .. i have to tweak the 3D settings in the menu options .. to get it to look right .. likely to compensate for the way the 3D movie was ripped and re-encoded ... If i dont do this .. the 3D can seem very disappointing and unpleasant for my eyes ..

I assume you only have to tweak 3D settings mainly if your content is downloaded or online ...
'L/R Image Change' - switch between the L / R setting anyway .. even if it looks okay .. just to make sure ...
'3D Perspective' - IF L/R image is fine ... i pause the playback at a point when the picture has something sharp in the foreground, preferably at screen depth... words or a face for eg ... adjust 3D perspective up or down to remove the ghosting at side of the words .. this should bring the rest of the 3D depth into perspective and make the viewing experience far more enjoyable ..
regardless ... if like me, to start with, you put a 3D movie on, and just expect it to look brilliant without tweaking the settings ... you may be quite disappointed, and even visually disorientated .. Please make sure you have messed around with all the settings before writing the great TV off ...
PC - NOTE - for anyone wishing to connect to PC via HDMI - remember to use HMDI port 1 ... AND you MUST then rename it in options to 'DVI PC' or 'PC' to make it look sharp like PC monitor .. ( i think it switches off its filters or something) ...;

I love the way i can just plug my USB devices directly into the set .. and it will play my videos ... I think for some of the larger High Def video files and for the hardware of the TV set, it will make a better job of displaying some of these videos directly (from its own USB port), as opposed to watching on some lower end PC's connected to the TV ...
